Short answer: before you buy an accessory, match it to your frame’s model code and size, not just “Ray-Ban Meta”. Each frame style and generation has its own code:
- Gen 1: Wayfarer is RW4006 (standard) and RW4008 (large), Headliner is RW4009 and Skyler is RW4010.
- Gen 2: Wayfarer is RW4012, Headliner is RW4013 and Skyler is RW4014.
Lenses and clip-ons must match the exact frame and size. Ear grips, cases and many chargers fit more widely. The tables below show what each accessory we sell is listed to fit.
This is a compatibility reference built from our product listings, so it shows the fit each listing states. Where a listing only says “Ray-Ban Meta” without naming models, we mark it as general fit. How do I find my Ray-Ban Meta model?
Your box, receipt or order confirmation shows the model code and size. Size is written as two numbers: lens width and bridge width in millimetres. For example, “50-22” is a standard Wayfarer and “53-22” is a large one. Use this table to match the code to your frame:

Two things to watch for:
- Gen 2 Wayfarer has one code for both sizes. RW4012 covers both the 50-22 and 53-22 frames, so check the size as well as the code.
- Some Oakley codes are for regular frames. Some lenses are listed for Oakley HSTN frame codes such as OO9242 or OO9464 rather than Oakley Meta HSTN (OW8002). Check that the code on the listing matches yours exactly.
What fits which model: the quick rules
- Replacement and prescription lenses: must match the frame, the size and usually the generation. This is the category where fit matters most.
- Clip-on lenses: must match the frame shape and size. Some also depend on the frame finish. For example, the Hibloks standard Wayfarer clip-on fits glossy frames only, not matte.
- Charging docks and cables: connect to the contacts on the nose bridge, so the listed frames matter. None are made or approved by Meta. Meta itself says the charging case is the only way to charge.
- Ear grips, nose pads and temple covers: usually fit several frames, but a few are made for one model.
- Cases: generally fit Wayfarer, Skyler and Headliner. Check whether they hold the glasses alone or the glasses inside their charging case.

Do Gen 1 accessories fit Gen 2?
Sometimes. Comfort accessories and cases often fit both generations, and several of our listings name both. Lenses and clip-ons are the risky ones. Only buy a lens or clip-on that names your generation or your exact model code. For example, our photochromic Wayfarer lenses list both RW4006 and RW4012, while the Gen 1 replacement lenses list RW4006 only.
What about Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3?
None of our current listings confirm fit for Gen 3 frames. If you have Gen 3 glasses, contact us with your model code before ordering, and we’ll check with the supplier.

Where do I find my Ray-Ban Meta model number?
On your box, receipt or order confirmation. Look for a code starting with RW (or OW for Oakley Meta) and a size such as 50-22.
Are Wayfarer standard and large lenses interchangeable?
No. Standard (50-22) and large (53-22) Wayfarer frames take different lens sizes, so match the size on the listing.
Will Ray-Ban Meta accessories fit Oakley Meta glasses?
Generally not for lenses, clip-ons, nose pads or ear grips, which are shaped for each frame. Some chargers and adapters list both, so check the listing.
Do third-party chargers damage Ray-Ban Meta glasses?
Meta only supports charging in its own case, and third-party chargers aren’t made or approved by Meta. Choose one that lists your exact model, and follow Meta’s requirements for cables and power adapters.
What if my model isn’t listed on an accessory?
Contact us before ordering. We’ll confirm fit with the supplier rather than guess.
